NPL Strategy Lead joins SILC as Vice Chair

Gareth Edwards, NPL’s  Strategy Lead for Industrial Digitalisation is the Vice Chair of SILC from May 2020.  Gareth has been an active member of SILC for many years, and we are grateful for his enthusiasm in helping drive forwards the cause of sensing in the UK.

Gareth leads the development of the National Physical Laboratory’s (NPL) Industrial Digitalisation strategy. He leads a talented team who are working hard to forge collaborations across industry, academia and government, using the extraordinary science and engineering undertaken at the NPL to help accelerate the UK manufacturing industry’s growth and competitiveness.
